LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Whitmer has signed into law a measure that will reimburse Michigan National Guard troops for inadequate food served to them as they participated in the deployment at the US Capitol.
Guardsmen who were in Washington due to the riot at the Capitol building in January were served undercooked and inadequate food through a vendor, and the law directs the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs to eligible soldiers through a grant.
