BROOKLYN, MI — An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead on the grounds of the Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Melissa Donna Havens of Croswell, Mich.. There’s no word on a possible cause of death.
However, police say they are looking for a person of interest in connection with the case. According to MSP, a black male in his 30′s with short black hair, short beard and wearing a gray hoodie was with Havens within 24 hours of when her body was discovered.
