ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions’ franchise value is on the rise.
According to Forbes, Detroit is now worth just north of $3 billion. It’s a 27-percent increase over the last year for the Lions. Despite the increase, the Lions rank just 31st in the NFL.
The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable team in the NFL. Forbes values the team at $8 billion. It’s the 14th consecutive year the NFC East champions top the list.
The New England Patriots, the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams, the New York Giants, and the Chicago Bears round out the top five.
