After losing 7-6 in the opener, Detroit fell short 9-6 in the night cap.
Spencer Torkelson homered in both games for the Tigers, who sit at 66-and-95.
The Tigers wrap up the season today against the Mariners, with the opening pitch scheduled for 4:10 p.m. EDT.
