LANSING, MI — The Lansing Board of Water and Light says it has delayed sending 13,000 customer bills this month.
A “vendor error” is causing the delay in mailing November bills, according to Media Partner WLNS TV. The utility says it is notifying impacted consumers by robocall. The delayed bills are being mailed this week.
The good news is that no late fees from these bills will be assessed, and the utility is prepared to work with consumers for flexible payment arrangements if the delay in billing causes any hardships.
