LANSING, MI — Lansing School District volunteers will distribute holiday food to Lansing families this Saturday. Pathway to the Holiday is an annual event that serves not only as a catalyst for community spirit but it also shows the gratitude of the Lansing School District.
Volunteers on Saturday morning will load trucks full of food for delivery to as many as 500 homes across the Lansing community, according to a press release. Volunteers will package and provide district families with all the essential ingredients to cook a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, including a turkey and other festive fixings.
Pathway to the Holiday is a collaborative effort with SodexoMAGIC the district’s food provider, ABM, Dean Transportation, and the Lansing Schools Education Association (LSEA).
