LANSING, MI — The Michigan Association of Airport Executives (MAAE) has honored Nicole Noll-Williams, president and CEO of the Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA), which operates the Capital Region International Airport (LAN) with the 2024 Airport Manager of the Year Award.
The Airport Manager of the Year Award is an annual honor bestowed by MAAE to recognize outstanding leadership in airport management. Recipients are selected based on their commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and community involvement. The award recognizes Noll-Williams’ exceptional leadership and her significant contributions to Michigan’s aviation industry.
“It gives me great pleasure to present MAAE’s Airport Manager of the Year Award to Nicole Noll-Williams of the Capital Region International Airport,” said Cheryl Bush, MAAE’s past president. “Her contributions to the mid-Michigan aviation region are extensive and she is an inspiration to her peers.”
Bush continued: “Nicole’s tenacity, leadership, and influence in the region have generated much success to secure funding for large infrastructure projects, including the cargo apron expansion at LAN, and expansion of the air service program in Lansing. MAAE is proud to have Nicole’s leadership and positive energy as a part of our association as we work to promote aviation leaders and airports in Michigan.”
“I am truly honored to be recognized by my peers with this prestigious award,” said Nicole Noll-Williams. “Leading the Capital Region International Airport has been an exciting and rewarding journey. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Capital Region Airport Authority board of directors, dedicated CRAA team, and business and community partners who have embraced our vision.
