LANSING, MI — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to attend an open house to learn more about the M-99 project in Ingham/Eaton counties. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions at the meeting on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Alfreda Schmidt Community Center at 5825 Wide Road in south Lansing.
Work on this project begins in April, focusing on M-99 from Holt Highway to Edgewood Boulevard in Ingham and Eaton counties. The construction phase for this project is expected to be finished by November, according to an MDOT press release.
The project is part of a $15 million investment to rebuild M-99 from Holt Road to Edgewood Boulevard that will address pavement condition, drainage and pedestrian improvements.
In addition to the open house, comments and input can be submitted by calling the MDOT Transportation Service Center at 517-335-3754.
