LANSING, MI — An Ingham County educator – known as being a champion of students – has been selected to receive the Excellence in Education weekly award from the Michigan Lottery.
The winner, Ryan Anderson, is a case manager at Holt High School. He’ll receive a $2,000 prize and be eligible to win the Educator of the Year Award at the end of the school year.
Anderson, who says his own experience as a student inspired him to pursue and career in education, earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree from Madonna University. He has been an educator for 19 years.
