LANSING, MI — The Capital City’s 517 Day celebration is set to return to downtown Lansing in Saturday. All 517-day activities will feature Michigan makers, music, art, shopping, food and the culture of the Lansing community, according to a press release.
The 517 Day festivities include the Best of Lansing Festival and with activities and events all along S. Washington Square, Capitol Ave., and Lansing’s riverfront throughout the day Saturday.
“517 Day is all about celebrating what makes Lansing and the 517 area so special, from our local talent and culture to the people who make this city shine,” said (Metro) Melik Brown, founder of 517 Day. “It’s a day to come together, enjoy live music, art, food, and community, and experience firsthand why Lansing is the place to be.”
