EAST LANSING, MI — The Big Ten Conference has announced kickoff times for the first three games of the 2025 Michigan State football season.
MSU’s season opener has officially been moved to Friday, Aug. 29, against Western Michigan at 7:00 p.m. in Spartan Stadium; the game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will be televised on FS1. It’s also the 13th time since 2011 that MSU will begin the season on a Friday night.
In week 2, the Spartans will host Boston College in prime time on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
Michigan State closes out the nonconference portion of its schedule on Saturday, Sept. 13, against Youngstown State at 3:30 p.m. on BTN.
