LANSING, MI — Hot and humid conditions will bring several rounds of storms today through Saturday, and some could prove to be severe. The rain this morning will dry up in the early afternoon, but additional storms are possible Friday evening. Then another round of storms is possible Saturday afternoon when a cold front crosses the area.
According to Media Partner 6 News WLNS, the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk (2 out of 5) for severe storms across mid-Michigan both today and tomorrow, with the potential for wind gusts of 60mph or more and quarter-sized hail. Even an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
