MASON, MI — Another Empty the Shelters National Adoption Event is underway through July 18 at the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter on Buhl Street in Mason. The BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is again prompting a nationwide call for adoption through its “Summer National Empty the Shelters Event.”
The shelter is offered reduced fee adoptions for a limited time. Typically adoptions will be $50 or less during the adoption event.
The Ingham County Animal Shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Sundays. Adoptions must begin by 4:30 p.m., and no animal intakes will be started after 4:45 p.m.
