LANSING, MI — The capital city will host the annual Earvin Johnson, Sr., Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show is this weekend at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lansing. Earvin Sr., is the father of basketball legend and Lansing native Magic Johnson.
The event is Saturday Aug. 9 from 7:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Admission is free and vehicle registration is $25. Vehicle registration opens at 7:00 a.m. Show organizers hope to have nearly 200 cars on hand.
The proceeds raised at this year’s event will benefit two law enforcement charities – Michigan Concerns of Police Survivors and Santa’s First Responders.
