DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan have shot up by 18-cents a gallon on average in the past week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $3.30 a gallon, one-penny more than last month and 19-cents less than last year.
A 15-gallon fill up costs $49 statewide, which is $8 less than it was at the highest price in 2024, set in July.
The most expensive gas is being sold in Traverse City at $3.34, followed by Ann Arbor at $3.33 and Lansing at $3.32.
Michigan’s most affordable gas is in Flint at $3.23, followed by Marquette at $3.24 and Benton Harbor at $3.29.
In southwest Michigan, prices are lowest in Van Buren County at $3.25, followed by Calhoun County at $3.27, Allegan, Berrien and Cass counties at $3.28, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties at $3.30, and Barry County at $3.37.
