LANSING, MI — The fresh fruits and veggies will be the star of the show at the annual Farmers Market on the State Capital lawn this week. Grab some fresh veggies, fruit, baked goods, syrup, honey, jam or flowers in downtown Lansing on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Food trucks will also be lined up along Capital Ave.
Presented by the Michigan Farmers Market Association, the annual event has become a staple in downtown Lansing. The market accepts Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, and Senior Market FRESH. The group says in a press release it is committed to providing everyone in the community an opportunity to enjoy fresh, local fruits, vegetables and other food products.
