DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Lions will hit the road for a long trip overseas to play a regular-season game this fall in Munich, Germany. The game is part of the NFL International Series. It’s the first international game for the Lions since playing in back-to-back seasons in London in 2014 & 2015.
We don’t know the exact date or the opponent just yet, but the game will be played at the FC Bayern Munich Stadium.
Detroit Lions President & CEO Rod Wood stated: “We are thrilled to be playing internationally and specifically in Munich for the 2026 season. As an organization, we have invested greatly in the German market and are excited to play in front of our passionate German fans.”
