LANSING, MI — CATA’s Road Ahead, the year-long, comprehensive systemwide analysis of CATA’s transit services, is moving into its next phase of the project with public events scheduled in April and May, according to a press release.
The project continues to examine how public transportation can better serve the region, reviewing both fixed-route and demand-response services. CATA says the findings will provide valuable insight on how to “best meet the evolving needs of residents, employees, students and visitors.”
The study also explores opportunities to coordinate with community partners and expand transportation options across the tri-county region.
According to the press release, community members are invited to attend open house events to learn more about the project, meet with staff, ask questions and provide input. Attendees can also review feedback and data from Phase I and transit concepts developed based on those findings.
