GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Former conservative media journalist Tudor Dixon has received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump as she faces four others in the Republican primary for governor tomorrow.
Trump made the endorsement on Friday despite being asked by all five candidates not to weigh in. The polls are open Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
On “Fox News Sunday,” Dixon said she disagrees with former U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos that Trump was to blame for the January 6, 2021, insurrection attempt at the U.S. Capitol, despite getting the DeVos family’s endorsement this spring. DeVos quit on January 7 2021 and said Trump’s rhetoric drove the protestors.
