EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University says its student union will partially reopen next week.
The MSU Union, the site of that on-campus shooting in February, will reopen to the public beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Open areas will include social spaces throughout the building, including the first floor lounges, computer labs and Sparty’s convenience store, the school says. In addition, the MSU Union Food Court will remain closed for now.
Meanwhile, Berkey Hall where two students were killed in February, will remain closed through the end of 2023.
