LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says third-party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. give her “some concern” for President Biden’s reelection chances in November.
She was pressed on CNN’s “State of Union” Sunday about recent polls showing Kennedy had nine-percent support in her state. She said Kennedy and other third-party candidates need to be taken seriously by Democrats.
Still, she added that Biden has been able to deliver on infrastructure and other priorities in her state. Kennedy qualified for the Michigan ballot in April.
