HOLT, MI — Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating suspicious death on a woman in Holt.
Deputies responded Wednesday to the 4000 block of Holt Road in Delhi Township to check the welfare of a resident. The body of an adult female was found deceased inside the home. The Michigan State Police crime lab is on scene assisting with the collection of evidence to help ascertain the events leading up to the death, according to a county press release.
Positive Identification has yet to be made. Therefore, the notification of next of kin may be delayed. Police say there is nothing to indicate that local residents are in danger.
