MASON, MI — The holidays can be a time for new beginnings, and tens of thousands of very adoptable pets are waiting for their second chances in the nation’s animal shelters. To make adoption more affordable, the Bissel Pet Foundation is hosting another Empty the Shelters reduced-fee adoption event from Dec. 1 – 15, at over 40 Michigan shelters. The Ingham County Animal Shelter in Mason is one of them.
Bissel Pet Foundation is a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness. With its support, adoptive families pay no more than $50 -75 to bring home a fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered pet.
The Ionia County Shelter, Jackson County Animal Shelter and Livingston County Animal Shelter are also participating in the adoption event.
