LANSING, MI — Spring break is certainly a peak season of travel as mid-Michiganders escape to warmer climates. Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport is prepared for the onslaught of fliers.
The good news is that lines at airport security checkpoints have slackened now that President Trump signed an order to cut checks TSA agents who have gone the past month without checks as part of the partial government shutdown.
Experts say peak travel is expected the rest of this week and the coming weekend with many spring breakers returning to mid-Michigan. Visit the airport’s website at www.flylansing.com, to stay up to date on mid-Michigan travel.
