LANSING, MI — There is the potential for strong gusty thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and heavy doses of rainfall later today and Tuesday.
Warm and muggy air will bring a lot of potential energy in this warm and humid air for storms to fire up. A developing storm complex is expected to cross the area Monday, then a big cold front sweeps over the state on Tuesday.
Cooler weather will prevail across mid-Michigan beginning Wednesday through the upcoming holiday weekend.
