LANSING, MI — It’s going to be a warm start to September for mid-Michigan. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for portions of southern Michigan from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The average high for this time of year is around 78′. Today’s high temperature will be near 90., but the feels like temps will be in the upper 90s.
Cooler temperatures will prevail by the weekend with highs near 80.
