EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University trustee Rema Vassar is planning to sue MSU, alleging discrimination.
Vassar has filed a pre-litigation demand document, claiming the university and other trustees violated her rights repeatedly.
Those include due process and First Amendment rights.
The letter sent to outgoing MSU president Kevin Guskiewicz gives him until June 17th to respond, and if he does not, Vassar’s attorney will file a federal lawsuit against the university.
She is seeking at least $25-million in damages.
