DEWITT, MI — After more than a year of planning and development, construction on the new Downtown DeWitt Farmers Market is ready to begin, according to a press release.
The City of DeWitt marked the start of work on the new farmers market in town with a Groundbreaking Ceremony Monday night. The new Downtown DeWitt Farmers Market will be located on the corner of N. Scott Street and W. Jefferson Street.
“We look forward to celebrating with our community as we kick off this project and take the next step toward creating a vibrant gathering place in downtown DeWitt,” the press release said.
The new farmers market is expected to be completed in time for the 2027 season. The DeWitt Farmers Markets is held each Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m.
