MT. PLEASANT, MI — The Basketball Super League will make its debut in Mt. Pleasant at the Soaring Eagle Casino following a new joint agreement between the casino and the Great Lakes Royals.
The strategic partnership established Soaring Eagle as the home venue of the Royals, creating a unique opportunity to bring high-level basketball and regional entertainment to mid-Michigan, according to a press release.
“This announcement is about so much more than basketball, said Kelly Garety, owner of the pro basketball franchise. “From the beginning, our vision has been to build something that brings families together, creates opportunities, supports local business and give mid-Michigan families a team to rally around.
Additional announcements regarding the team’s schedule will be forthcoming.
