BEIJING, July 27 (Reuters) – Profit at China’s industrial firms grew 18.7% in the first half of 2026 from a year earlier, official data showed on Monday.
The rise eased from an 18.8% increase in the January-to-May period, showed data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
Industrial profit figures cover firms with annual revenue of at least 20 million yuan ($2.95 million) from main operations.
