DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Drivers around Michigan are paying 22¢ less per gallon to fill their gas tanks than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average is at $4.47, 42¢ more than last month and a $1.36 more than last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs $67 on average around Michigan.
The state’s highest price is $4.54 a gallon in Ann Arbor and the most affordable gas is in Flint at $4.29.
In southwest Michigan, St. Joseph County has the lowest price at $4.27, followed by Calhoun County at $4.36, Allegan County at $4.46, Berrien and Cass counties at $4.47, Kalamazoo County at $4.54, Van Buren County at $4.55, and Barry County at $4.60.
